We have always been guided by a belief that the quality of our surroundings has a direct influence on the quality of our lives – the practice of architecture is inseparable from the social and economic values of individuals who practice it and the society which sustains it. Architecture is generated by individuals needs – physical and spiritual – and a concern for the geographical context, culture and climate of place.
At Antoniades Architects we believe that the best architecture comes from a synthesis of all the elements that separately comprise and influence the character of a building – its structure, services, ecology, the quality of natural light, as well as form and the way one relates to the exterior and interior of the building. Intrinsic to this holistic approach we develop strong personal relationships with our clients and respect the precious resources of cost and time. Recent decades have witnessed key shifts in public attitude to the environment and issues of sustainability and energy consumption. We have always proactively responded to these concerns, developing design solutions that incorporate fundamental principles of energy efficiency, careful natural resource utilisation, user health and social responsibility. Environmental awareness and ESD is an integral part of the practice’s culture, a culture that is evolving to meet the challenges of the future.

Architecture

Antoniades Architects have a diverse portfolio of work with strong engagement across mixed use and housing sectors which include residential, built to rent, co-living, and later life developments. We have delivered over 1300 residential apartments, independent living units and villas, and 1600 student accomodation beds.
Urban Design

We focus on designing well integrated, inviting public domain spaces, with consideration of the interface between our design and the surrounding context. This has driven our growing awareness and expertise in public space, particularly the integration of publicly accessible, communal spaces into private developments.
Interior Design
We have completed interior design work across residential, commercial, student accomodation, seniors living developments, and function venues.
Our ethos is to design meaningful interiors that will elevate the liveability and connection to the spaces and places that people use and occupy. The designs have focus on dialogue and synthesis between the built form and the interior spaces, whilst attentive to the evolving and functional needs of people and organisations.
Master Planning

Antoniades Architects have through the various stages of our master planning work, set to deliver over 1000 homes by 2025. We have an intrinsic understanding of the drivers that connect and build communities, specifically in co-generational and seniors living developments.

Leadership team
Andreas Antoniades
Director
Andreas is the founding member and brings over 30 years of experience to the practice.
Andreas is a well rounded architect with experience in residential, retail and commercial work. His experience includes high end residential work from individual homes to multi unit low and high rise developments, large commercial and regional retail developments.
His passion for architecture and urban design has extended to various academic roles including lecturing and has participated in the judging of design competitions and awards.
Andreas’ design capabilities, as well as his depth of experience across various sectors gives Antoniades Architects the ability to provide our clients with both creativity and dependability.
Joseph Fok
Associate
Joseph is an experienced architect with over 20 years experience in the building industry both in Australia and abroad. His experience includes a diverse range of residential, commercial and retail projects across Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Hong Kong and Singapore.
In dealing with the design, documentation and site supervision of those projects, he gained valuable experience in turning difficult brief and design intents into reality.
Since joining Antoniades Architects in early 2012 Joseph been central to the completion of a number of key projects including Arundel Street Student Accommodation in Glebe, Creswell Residences in Canberra, and the mixed used development in St Peters
With his experience in both design and documentation, he has the ability to deliver projects from inception to completion with focus and clarity.
Ewa Adamczyk
Associate
Ewa has over 20 years of postgraduate experience in the architectural profession in Australia and Poland.
During this time, Ewa was responsible for delivery of complex, multi-million-dollar developments, including residential. commercial, retail and health projects.
Since joining Antoniades Architects, Ewa has played a lead role in all stages of our large scale mixed used developments and has contributed extensively to the success of those projects with her rich experience and knowledge. Ewa’s all-round experience has provided excellence in delivery throughout the lifecycle of the projects, ensuring the integrity of the design intent and project vision is maintained to completion.
