Antoniades Architects are delighted to announce the completion of HMC Capital’s new office in Melbourne.

Situated in a prime position in Southbank, the workplace layout has been thoughtfully planned and oriented to take advantage of the surrounding context and the sweeping views across Melbourne CBD, Docklands, MCG, and suburbs beyond.

The design achieves a harmonious relationship between ergonomic, functional consideration and sophistication in design. The office was envisioned not just as a place of work, but as an environment that inspires productivity, fosters collaboration, and promotes well-being.

Biophilic design principles are thoughtfully embedded throughout all the interior spaces. Timber finishes, natural materials, and integrated planting introduce a tactile, organic sensibility that enhances both comfort and connection to nature, whilst the lighting adds to the warmth and human-centric focus and experience of the workplace.

Every detail has been purposefully curated, from spatial arrangements to a material palette that evokes warmth, clarity, and permanence. The natural tones and clean architectural lines establish a calm, cohesive backdrop, while custom joinery and subtle textural layers bring a sense of craftsmanship and quiet refinement.

The breakout space provides a relaxed and natural environment to have informal catchups, coffee or lunch and enjoy the wonderful city views of Melbourne.
