Bray Street

Erskineville

The proposal at 33 Bray Street involves demolition of the existing dwelling and construction of two attached dual occupancy dwellings, each with three bedrooms and garage parking.

The design responds to the site’s corner condition by referencing the fine grain of Bray Street with a softer, residential expression, and addressing Concord Street and the adjacent rail corridor with a more robust form. The proposal bookends the block and mediates between two distinct streetscapes.

Materials include light-toned brick in soldier and stretcher bond, warm grey metal cladding, and operable timber batten screens. The architectural approach balances privacy, articulation, and contextual response.
