The proposal for 6 Stanley Street involves a double-storey addition to the existing dwelling, including a rear extension, an additional storey above, and basement excavation works. Internally, the works include a new kitchen, living and dining area, new staircase, and a master bedroom with an ensuite and walk-in robe. At the rear, a detached double garage with a loft study above is proposed. All extensions follow the prevailing rear setback pattern of surrounding dwellings.
The proposal retains the Victorian character of the existing building and incorporates restrained architectural modifications. The landscaping scheme introduces increased planting diversity and provides usable open space and outdoor amenity.
